This group covers milk supply, latching, teething, managing late night feedings, pain while nursing, partner feeding, transitioning to solids and other lactation topics. This group supports breastfeeding relationships with new moms, babies, and their families. Parents may attend single sessions or buy a group pass for six classes that can be redeemed at any time. Make sure your infant is receiving the calories they need to thrive. This test determines your breastmilk's fat and caloric content. Breastmilk can be dropped off at our Burlingame Center or shipped overnight. Results typically take 5 business days, if you need a rush please call and let us know. This appointment slot is to drop off your sample.

When dropping off the sample, provide a total of 1 oz. of milk from four evenly spaced pumpings over 24 hours in a sealed milk storage bag or container..

Get your breast pump professionally tested and cleaned. Pumps are ready to pick up in 1 to 3 days. Highly recommended for pumps after every 3 months of use or when preparing for use with a different baby.

If your pump cannot be repaired, you can trade it in and apply the cost of this appointment toward a new pump. If we find an issue, we will troubleshoot. We carry replacement parts, and can demo how to use the breast pump.

Designed to build confidence in new parents as they begin their breastfeeding journey with their newborn. Helps new moms and their partners learn the secrets to successful breastfeeding. Topics include: the first feeding, skin to skin, signs that baby is getting enough milk, baby behaviors, feeding cues, proper positioning and latch, feeding frequency and duration, what to expect during the first few weeks, bottle feeding and how to express and store milk. You may bring 1 support person.

This class goes over going back to work, questions to ask potential caregivers, options for pumping and storing milk, and ways to plan around work schedules. Understanding the basics of going back to work and your options with accommodations can make the transition easier and help extend the chest/breastfeeding relationship between lactating parent and baby.
